Hey y’all! We’re happy you’re here. Our custom hat bar originated in an unexpected turn of events. We had no idea a girls’ trip filled with laughter, silly inside jokes, and spending way too much money would lead to the beginning of a new adventure, but somehow that’s exactly what happened.

While attending a country music festival, we had a blast incorporating the Western cowgirl aesthetic into our outfits in a way that felt unique to us. We wished we could dress like this everyday! And then we realized… what was stopping us? We had both recently quit our jobs, and our chronic restlessness wasn’t going to allow us to sit still for long. We wanted to translate that same excitement and creative energy we had on our trip to something that would keep us busy and give us purpose. One thing led to another, an impromptu brainstorming session ensued in the middle of the sidewalk, and, suddenly, we were talking business strategies.

Towards the end of our trip, we realized a feather was missing from one of our hats. It wasn’t long after that the name The Lost Feather was born. Within about 24 hours, we found a vendor for our hats, mapped out a business plan, and designed a logo. We were doing this.
